How Long Before an Event Should I Get a Professional Spray Tan?
For the most part, you should get the airbrush tan two days before the event. This way, you can prevent color transfers. If you wear darker clothes, you can get the sunless tanning session one day before the event.
How Long Will the Airbrush Tan Last?
You’re looking at about 7-10 days of gorgeous glow. That said, the longevity of the results will also depend on how you prep the skin. Exfoliate the skin before the treatment, as the dead skin cells can affect the final look. Don’t use deodorant or lotions, as they can form a barrier and reduce treatment longevity.
Will the Airbrush Spray Tan Stain My Clothing?
You may get some slight stains right after the tan, which is why we recommend wearing loose clothes. However, there shouldn’t be any issues once you take the first shower. Even if it does run off slightly, the color should come off easily after you wash the clothes.
Will My Skin Look Orange After the Treatment?
No, we customize the color based on the desired depth and your skin tone. Our goal is to offer a golden, natural glow that matches your undertone, so there should be no orange in sight.
How Long After the Airbrush Tan Can I Shower?
Usually, it’s best to wait 6-8 hours before you shower, as this lets the DHA take effect. We will give you the aftercare instructions after we are done with the treatment.
What Shower Technique Should I Use to Prolong the Results?
The first shower should be done with lukewarm water, with no scrubbing or body wash. For the next few days, use your hands to wash yourself, not a sponge or loofah. Rubbing can lead to premature exfoliation, which fades the tan. Avoid harsh products or products that dry your skin.
Can I Get a Sunless Tan If I Have Sensitive Skin?
Absolutely! We use fragrance and paraben-free solutions that are suitable for every skin type, even the sensitive ones. We do recommend you get a patch test if your skin is extremely sensitive or if you are prone to allergies.
